APPLICATION FOR SERVICE
Application for telephone service must be accomplished and signed on a Subscriber Request Form (SRF) provided by PANTELCO. After payment of all corresponding charges, PANTELCO will execute such requests and applications for services.
BILLS AND PAYMENTS
Statement of accounts are furnished to the subscriber every 1st week of the month with the advice to pay before the due on every 16th of the month or within ten (10) days from receipt of such notices. Phone advisory is then conducted by PANTELCO where subscribers with overdue accounts are called and reminded to update their accounts. Failure of the subscriber to settle their overdue accounts thereafter entitles PANTELCO to discontinue its service. Service may be restored only after payments are made. A reconnection fee of P224.00 is included if such subscribers settle their accounts after thirty (30) days but within three (3) months. Subsequent request after three (3) months shall incur a reconnection fee of P840.00. Moreover, PANTELCO will exercise its prerogative to assign disconnected telephone lines to new applicants after the three (3) months grace period.
CHARGES FOR LONG DISTANCE CALLS
The subscriber is accountable for all long distance charges resulting from outgoing calls at the telephone listed under his name, regardless of who places the call and whether the same has been made with or without the knowledge and consent of the subscriber concerned.

CHANGES IN EXISTING SERVICE
Request for changes in existing service such as transfer, modification, addition of other services such as extension lines must be made in person by subscriber concerned through the filing of a Subscriber's Request Form (SRF). Request for transfer of telephone line or notice of service termination must be received by the business office at least 15 working days before the date of removal. Restoration of service, in case of transfer will depend on the availability of facilities in the new address. PANTELCO should be notified of service/s no longer desired by the subscriber. PANTELCO reserves the right to discontinue service/s on premises vacated by the original subscriber if such service is transferred to new occupants without informing PANTELCO.

    Panay Telephone Corporation(PANTELCO) is a private telephone exchange operating in the province of Aklan. In 1993, PANTELCO started its operation in the island of Boracay, Malay, Aklan. Due to high dependence on telephone services as a means of communication, Kalibo Exchange was established and became the Central Office of its operation. PANTELCO started servicing the municipality of Kalibo, Banga, New Washington, Numancia, Makato, Malinao, Lezo, Altavas and the island of Boracay. In 1996, PANTELCO extended operations and services in the neighboring provinces of Iloilo and Antique.
    Persistent to curve a niche in the telecommunications industry, PANTELCO interconnected with Philippine Long Distance Telephone Corporation (PLDT), Philippine Global Communications, Inc. (PHILCOM), Globe Telecommunications, Inc. (GLOBE), Bayan Telecommunications, Inc. (BAYANTEL), Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART), Destiny Satellite Corporation (DOMSAT), ISLACOM as Domestic and International Carriers.
